The July tap list is buzzing with tasty brews. From clean and simple lagers like Streetlight Helles Lager to refreshingly fruity ales like Hiatus Watermelon Wheat Beer, we have a variety of thirst-quenching remedies to beat the summer heat. Our newest release, Hiatus Watermelon, has been a hit! American wheat beers have an incredibly light, drinkable malt base, which makes them an ideal canvas for fresh fruit. The addition of fresh watermelon, combined with Citra hops, creates a well-balanced, fruit-forward brew. A couple of IPAs to keep an eye out for this month include 1-Way SMaSH IPA and Witch of Wallingford NEDIPA. The very first edition of our SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) series, 1-Way utilizes Centennial hops and two-row pale malt to create a simple, unpretentious, West Coast-inspired IPA. On the opposite end of the IPA spectrum, Witch of Wallingford boasts an intensely fruity hop aroma and flavor, paired with a soft, hazy malt base. A local favorite, stay tuned for the Witch to return on tap and in cans! Shifting our focus to the brewhouse, we have a few beers in the tanks that we can't wait to have back on tap. Charlie Brown American Brown Ale is a Center Street OG that first appeared on the tap list back in 2019. Charlie Brown features a roasted, nutty malt character with subtle notes of chocolate. It's a simple, easy-drinking brown ale that will be back on tap in the coming weeks. Another beer returning by popular demand is Weekday American Light Lager. At just 3.5% ABV, this lager is perfect any time of the week (hence the name). Light, crisp, and refreshing, Weekday scratches the beer itch without the higher alcohol content. Lastly, our flagship IPA, Wicked Hoppah NEIPA, was recently brewed and will be hitting the taps in the coming weeks once the batch is kegged. A staple at CSB, we're excited to have Wicked back!
